Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry immediately, following the direction of the grain. Avoid soaking in water, dishwashers, direct sunlight and heat sources, which can dry out or discolour the wood over time. Light colour variations are part of the natural character of solid wood. To refresh the finish, apply a thin layer of natural wood oil every few months, then wipe away any excess before use.
